Ive actually found a workaround for this issue, you need to use "manage saves" instead of using the "continue" option. Then you can go to your position of choice and load it manually and that stupid position change issue ...I also only play offline franchise. My file corrupts around 2027-2030. I get a bluescreen crash either after a game, checking coaching positions/skill trees, or editing a player. Then I load the game back up and the file is stuck in an infinite load loop. Auto subs are broken in Franchise. The game will sub out your number 1 HB for the 3rd string HB and the only way to fix it is to super sim the next play. Lovely. Great QA over there.
