Ford focus no key detected

Posted July 9, 2020. From memory, depending on model, try pressing the stop/start button 8 times. It should go beep and then press any button on the key fob within 5-10 seconds. I know that works on some Ford cars but can't remember which, and I think newer models need a OBD reader and Forscan to do the programming.
