Well, I owned a steel Bergara that would shoot nice tight 2-3" groups at 100 yds with quality ammo. Scoped the barrel and found many pits in it. Sent it back to Lawrenceville, GA where they recut the crown. Wow, then it shot 2" groups. I sold it. My 457 Varmint shoots 1/2" groups at 100 yds with SK Rifle Match.
