The 346 is a fairly high capacity baler and should be able to take a lot of hay. You should get a genuine JD shear bolt.... or several, don't use a normal bolt.

The bales are real loose because I keep loosening the cranks on the bale tension to see if that is the problem (as it usually is but thats in wet hay).24T baler knotter problem help. The stop extends into the path of the plunger, stopping the plunger before it contacts the needles.
